EP vs Orpington

The
under 15s won the match against Orpington rovers by
10 goals to nil.
In the last few years i have never reported on the result of a match but today, because of the score, I have to put in a match report, or rather a report about a very special bunch of lads and one very loud coach. When we started at under 11 we lost every match bar one, most of them by ten goals or more. At under 12, we managed to win 3 games in a season but we have steadily improved, we still have 7 players who were with us at under 11 and now we have achieved our 1st ever 10 goal win. Orpinton rovers were not as strong as most teams in our division but it is still a landmark to have such a good win. If we continue to play as a team, and listen to our coach this bunch of players will go on to make Eltham Progress very proud. It is a pleasure and a privilage to be associated with them. We have won nothing yet, but watch this space
