2008-2009 So Far
The 1sts started the season
away at Eden Park Rangers who have turned out to be
one of the strongest outfits in the premier
division, and as the manager of EPR rightly pointed
out "welcome to
the Premier league lads" with a 6 -
0 drubbing. they returned the next week against
Coney Hall and as ever won a tightly contested
encounter 2-0, buoyed by this result Paul Howe and
his team went into the Kent cup tie against
Midfield with full expectations of a win and got
just that with a comfortable 4 - 1 win.
So overall not a bad start to the season but EPR
showed just how far we have to go to be challenging
for senior division status.
