We had played Fairfield in the past and had some enjoyable games against them, this was an entirely different team we played today much younger and a lot more spirited .
On what was a very hard pitch it was nearly impossible to play our normal passing game it took us nearly 15min of poorly placed passes to get used to playing on the pitch , when we did it become one way attack on Fairfields goal with two from Steve Cotter two from Danny Brookman and one from Dean Graham .

The second half understandably was a much more laid back performance from EP but still managed two more goals with Dean Graham adding another to his total and the best was saved till last when James Walden played a 40 yd diagonal ball which Barry Corrigan took on his chest flipped up with his right foot spun on a sixpence and struck the ball sweetly into the corner of the net .
